Dr. John Kello began his consulting career in the early 1980s, gaining experience with a small organizational consulting firm, which allowed him to apply evidence-based knowledge from organizational behavior research to foster positive cultures in organizations. In 1990, he founded John E. Kello & Associates, Inc., leveraging his background as a Professor of Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Alongside his consulting work, he has continued to teach and mentor students at Davidson College and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, contributing to research in organizational effectiveness while applying that knowledge practically. Since 2014, his family business has included Alex Kello and Laura Kello as Associates, and the firm has proudly served as trusted advisors across various industries, offering evidence-based counsel to enhance organizational dynamics.
